Refuelr is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

• Account information (email address and display name) if you create an account.
• Fuel station and price data you submit as part of community contributions.
• Anonymous usage and diagnostic data (crash reports, feature usage) to improve the app.
• Subscription receipt and entitlement information, processed by RevenueCat on our behalf.

How we use your data

We use collected data solely to operate and improve the Refuelr service — including authentication, syncing saved routes and favourites, delivering price alerts, and providing customer support. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Third-party services

Refuelr uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, analytics, and cloud functions.
• RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement tracking.
• Google Mobile Ads — served to non-premium users; governed by Google's privacy policy.

Subscriptions & payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). Refuelr does not handle payment card data directly. Refunds are managed by the respective store.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account exists. You can delete your account within the app, which removes your stored data. Anonymous diagnostic data may be retained for up to 12 months.

You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@refuelr.co.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will always reflect the latest revision.
