Delete your Refuelr account
Effective: 16 July 2026
You can delete your own account inside the Refuelr app at Manage account > Delete account.
That action permanently deletes your account and associated Refuelr data. It does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.
How to request deletion
- Open Refuelr and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Manage account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion request when prompted.
If you cannot access the app, email refuelr@outlook.com from the email address linked to your Refuelr account and ask for account deletion.
What we delete
- Your Firebase account, Refuelr profile, and sign-in data stored by Refuelr.
- Your RevenueCat customer profile and purchase history.
- Account-backed saved routes, favourites, search-usage records, and account settings.
- Notification tokens and price alerts.
- Community fuel-price and heating-oil submissions linked to your user ID.
- Daily anti-abuse records and route-usage records linked to your user ID.
- Your user ID from other community confirmations and reports.
What we keep
- Unlinked shared route-cache entries may remain for up to 7 days.
- Limited diagnostic, security, or operational logs may remain for the configured provider retention period.
- Billing records retained by Apple or Google Play for billing, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or chargeback purposes.
Retention period
Account-linked data is removed from active Refuelr systems when deletion completes. The limited records above follow their stated or provider-controlled retention periods.
Subscriptions
Deleting Refuelr does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it separately in Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
